Avabotics was started as student project with the aim to increase the safety of backcountry activities through new and innovative technology.

In two seperate projects a helmet supplying air to burial victims as well as a drone capable of analysing the snowpack composition was developed. Additionally different software tools facilitating a safer and more conscious avalanche danger analysis were engineered.
